Successful shelter renovation in our house
We have recently carried out an extensive renovation of the association's shelter. The refurbishment aimed to address the deficiencies identified in the shelter inspection carried out on 7 September 2022. The inspection was carried out by Richard Malm of Briab and followed a checklist from the Community Safety and Preparedness Authority (MSB).
The measures that have been implemented to improve the shelter's function and safety include, among other things:
- Adjustment, lubrication and sealing of protective doors and gas-tight doors.
- Maintenance of concrete elements, protective plates and storage of loose components.
- Update and installation of ventilation units, pressure gauges and supply air devices.
- Procurement and preparation for installation of screen walls and doors for new toilets.
In summary, extensive improvement measures have been carried out at the shelter to ensure its function and safety. By updating and maintaining the shelter's critical components, we residents can feel safe and prepared for possible emergency situations.
