Sluggish elevator doors will be repaired
The doors to the association's lifts are worn and slow to open. Therefore, the board will begin work on replacing the door bars on the ground floor. A total of five door closers will be replaced starting on March 21. The work is estimated to take two days.
One reason why the doors are sluggish is that residents in the house "lubricate" the hinges, which has made them very dirty.
It is want to allowed to lubricate the hinges of the elevator doors as it contributes to the doors becoming slower to open over time.
New elevator pair in port 23
The association's last old elevator pair (port 23) has now been replaced. This means that all lifts in the association have been modernized. As with all our lifts, it is important to check the grooves in the floor where the sliding doors go. If there is gravel there, the doors cannot be closed. Dirt in the door grooves is the most common reason for the elevators to stand still.
