In our association we work actively with waste sorting for good environment and good economy! This is a great asset for all residents and we hope you help manage it so that it works. By sorting correctly, we make a big contribution to the environment and save money.

Inside the house

Make sure not to fill the vessels more than can fit. If it is full, you can save the garbage at home after the vessels have been emptied or alternatively run it yourself according to the alternatives below.

  • Plastic and metal packaging is emptied every 14 day
  • Rubbish dumps are emptied every Friday
  • Newspapers are emptied every day
  • Electric scraps are emptied once a month.

Smaller furniture, plastic (not packaging) and metal objects (not packaging) and textiles etc. that fit in the vessels.

Furniture must fit in the vessels, if they are enlarged then they should be split or you can drive them for recycling yourself.

Remember to flatten, fold and tear apart cartons etc. so that it can fit more in the vessels.

Also, keep in mind that glass, plastic and food scraps should be sorted and disposed of elsewhere.

There are red and green boxes on the wall.

Metal packaging, such as cans, lids and foil, is thrown in the container for metal packaging.

Other metal eg. frying pans and meal items are thrown in the rubbish bin in the room next door.

Dishwashers and washing machines, refrigerators and freezers, dryers, stoves and thick TVs must NOT be placed in the electrical room, but must be left at the recycling center or the municipality's bulky garbage truck.

Outside the house

Food waste is collected in paper bags that are thrown into the brown vessels on the gable. Key hangs before the gable door or can be acknowledged from the board.

If you need new paper bags, there is the door. If they are over, you can contact the board. There may also be paper bags outside the laundry room.

Glass is thrown away in the nearest glass recycling center. You will find, for example, a recycling igloo for glass below Mörbylundthe house at the construction site or at Lidl.

Clothes and shoes that you do not want to keep but that others can benefit from can be left in the green recycling container that is on the gable at Mörbylund 17 (middle house).

You can transport construction waste yourself to a recycling station.

Paint and solvents, as well as larger furniture and TV sets, etc. can be left at special recycling stations or to the municipality's mobile recycling site (truck). Information on dates can be found on the municipality's website.

The Kvarnkullen recycling center is located on Enköpingsvägen 129, approximately at the Rissne traffic stop. Here you recycle all kinds of waste except household garbage and food waste. On site there are knowledgeable staff who will help you if you are unsure.

Welcome to Hagby recycling center in Täby, SÖRAB's largest and most visited ÅVC. Here, as a resident of one of the municipalities Danderyd, Järfälla, Lidingö, Sollentuna, Solna, Sundbyberg, Täby, Upplands Väsby or Vallentuna, you can leave useful items and textiles for recycling free of charge as well as bulky waste, garden waste, electrical waste or your hazardous waste.
